Job summary

Coury Hospitality seeks an AM Host Person at Hotel Cleveland to warmly welcome guests, manage seating and waitlists, and coordinate with servers for a smooth dining experience. You will greet guests, provide menus, and guide them to their tables while maintaining an engaging and efficient dining room environment.

Responsibilities include mastering OpenTable reservations, knowing menus, balancing guest flow, and handling guest inquiries with courtesy.

Qualifications

• Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage waitlist and seating, inform when table is ready, and escort guests to seats with menus.
• Use OpenTable to take reservations and seat guests without reservations.
• Know menus and daily specials; recognize frequent guests and preferences.
• Balance seating rotation and manage workflow across service stations.
• Oversee dining room during service; relay guest feedback and maintain a congenial atmosphere.
