Job summary

Hollywood Casino at The Meadows is seeking a friendly restaurant team member to greet guests, manage seating, and deliver fast, accurate service in a lively setting.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent, cash handling experience, strong English communication, and the ability to operate a POS system and keep cash secure. Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays is required; starting pay is $14 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Proficiency in operating a POS system and accurately making change.
• Basic math skills, including add/subtract/multiply/divide.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
• Energetic, proactive, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner and arrange seating based on guest preference and table availability.
• Provide accurate wait times and manage guest waiting lists and reservations.
• Deliver fast, friendly, professional customer service to guests and restaurant staff.
• Operate the cash register/POS system, process transactions accurately, and maintain cash accountability.
• Maintain knowledge of the restaurant menu, pricing, and beverage offerings.
• Coordinate and manage the flow of the restaurant to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist servers and bus persons with guest service duties.
