Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior customer service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be fluent and literate in English.
• Ability to operate a POS system and make change.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Schedule may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner and arrange seating according to guest preference and table availability.
• Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and staff.
• Operate a cash register/P.O.S. system and ensure correct cash handling and change.
• Maintain dining and serving areas per policy and standards.
• Assist wait staff and bus persons and help with guest needs as required.
• Coordinate and control the flow of the restaurant.
