Job summary

Dialog Café WeHo is seeking a friendly, attentive Host to welcome guests, manage the host stand, and coordinate seating in a fast-paced café. You will work closely with Management and FOH colleagues to ensure smooth guest flow and a welcoming first impression.

The ideal candidate brings hospitality experience, a valid Food Handler’s Certificate, and the ability to stay organized, communicate clearly, and adapt to busy periods while maintaining a warm demeanor for every guest.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Food Handler’s Certificate and ABC License.
• Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
• Manage the host stand and maintain organized guest flow.
• Assist guests with seating and ensure tables are prepared before seating.
• Maintain awareness of table availability, pacing, and café capacity.
• Communicate with Management and FOH team regarding guest flow and service needs.
• Manage waitlists and communicate accurate wait times to guests.
