Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Greenville, SC is seeking a Bartender to manage bar setup and cocktail preparation while delivering exceptional guest service. You will maintain cleanliness, serve drinks promptly, and ensure compliance with liquor laws and hotel policies.

We require open weekend/holiday availability, strong communication, multitasking ability, and a professional demeanor to contribute to a premium guest experience at our Downtown Greenville location.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and staff.
• Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Attend required hotel meetings and trainings.
• Maintain regular attendance per Highgate standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up bar according to hotel standards and ensure guests are served promptly.
• Prepare beverages and cocktails according to mixing/presentation standards.
• Serve guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Break down bar after events and store liquor and equipment properly.
• Follow state liquor laws and hotel safety rules.
• Remain aware of hotel services and facilities for guest assistance.
• Respond to guest problems and complaints promptly.
• Keep bar and service areas clean and tidy during service.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
