Job summary

The Rustic is seeking a friendly Host to be the first point of contact for guests, greeting arrivals and guiding them to dining and bar areas. You will manage wait times, assist with to-go orders, and ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience from arrival to departure.

Ideal candidates possess strong communication skills, good organizational abilities, and a welcoming demeanor to help create remarkable memories for guests at our venue.

Qualifications

• Understanding of restaurant etiquette.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills via phone and in person.
• Strong organizational skills to monitor dining and bar seating.
• Good physical condition to walk and stand during shift.
• Certified in TABC and Food Handler regulations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the venue.
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists.
• Escort guests to assigned dining or bar areas.
• Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress's name.
• Greet customers upon departure and thank them for joining us.
• Maintain a clean host reception area.
• Cater to guests who require extra attention, e.g., children or elderly.
• Answer incoming calls and address customer queries.
• Assist with To-go orders.
