Job summary

Spec's Family Partners is seeking a Front-End Associate to deliver exceptional service at the register and help guests locate items. You will greet customers, scan UPCs, apply coupons, bag merchandise, and maintain a clean, welcoming checkout area.

You must be able to handle cash transactions, communicate clearly, and balance the till at shift end. The role requires punctuality, teamwork, and adherence to store policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; willing to learn
• Experience in cashiering or retail preferred
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions
• Ability to perform basic math for discounts and percentages

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately and handle cash, checks, and cards
• Assist guests with purchases and answer questions with courtesy
• Maintain store appearance and ensure registers are stocked
• Scan UPCs, redeem coupons, and bag merchandise properly
• Balance till at end of shift and ensure accurate totals
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service and uphold safety rules
