Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa seeks a Front Desk Agent to deliver courteous service at the lobby, check-in/out guests, handle payments, and provide information to enhance the guest experience. You must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of front desk or hotel operations experience.

Strong interpersonal and phone-etiquette skills, plus the ability to stand long hours and perform data entry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months of Front Desk/Hotel Operations experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Exceptional phone etiquette.
• Able to stand for long periods and operate a computer.
• Basic math skills for guest payments.

Responsibilities

• Registers arriving guests by completing paperwork and obtaining payment information.
• Settles account balances of departing guests and handles cash drawer.
• Investigates and resolves general billing discrepancies.
• Engages guests in promotions and hotel amenities for a pleasant stay.
• Responds to guest inquiries about entertainment or attractions.
• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Anticipates guests' needs and addresses requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitors lobby areas to maintain cleanliness and service standards.
