Job summary

Candlewood Olathe is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to deliver memorable guest experiences at check-in and during stay. You will handle transactions, provide local insights, and ensure a friction-free guest journey in a welcoming hotel environment.

Responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, coordinating with housekeeping, and promoting hotel services. The role requires customer service skills and a proactive, sales-minded approach to guest needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Previous hotel-related experience is desirable.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Register guests and assign rooms, accommodating special requests where possible.
• Assist in preregistration and blocking of rooms for reservations.
• Maintain front desk operations and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Coordinate room status with housekeeping and process check-outs.
• Provide local knowledge and sell hotel services when appropriate.
• Handle telephone etiquette and guest communications professionally.
