Job summary

Bally's Evansville in Evansville, IN seeks a customer-oriented hotel reservations associate to handle calls, process bookings, and manage guest information. You will work with lodging and gaming systems, recommending alternative options when needed and ensuring accurate payments and postings.

The role requires standing for long periods, attention to detail, and a willingness to work varied hours including holidays and weekends. Prior hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better.
• Experience in Hotel/Hospitality Industry preferred.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform manual tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously according to service standards.
• Process reservations from all sources including hotel, events, and concerts.
• Connect administrative or guest calls in a timely manner.
• Update and verify guest and travel agent information, rates, and dates.
• Process credit card charges for reservations.
• Inform guests about promotions, events, and hotel rates.
• Work with lodging and gaming systems to process bookings.
• Offer alternatives when requests cannot be fulfilled.
• Handle guest disputes and escalate as needed.
• Prepare 'comps' requests when necessary.
• Stand and walk for 7+ hours; lift up to 25 lbs.
• Register guests accurately per service standards.
• Collect appropriate payments and issue room keys.
• Settle/close guest accounts at departure and end-of-shift.
• Follow company Service Standards consistently.
• Be available for varied hours, holidays, and weekends.
