Job summary

Sonesta Hotels International Corporation is seeking a Food Server to deliver attentive hospitality across our restaurants, lounges, banquets, and dining outlets. You will create memorable moments for guests through menu knowledge, personalized recommendations, and smooth service.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant/hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive, professional food & beverage service across dining operations.
• Take guest orders accurately, answer menu questions, make recommendations, and deliver great guest experiences.
• Serve food and beverages according to service standards, presentation guidelines, and timing expectations.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, beverages, wine selections, promotions, and daily specials.
• Process guest transactions and operate POS systems accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining rooms, stations, tables, and guest areas.
• Support opening/closing tasks and banquet setup during shifts.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Bartenders, Food Runners, Banquets, and F&B leadership.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service policies.
• Assist upselling initiatives and guest engagement opportunities.
• Help create a welcoming, energetic team atmosphere aligned with Sonesta's culture.
• Any other duties as assigned.
