Job summary

Aloft Orlando Lake Nona is seeking a Server Assistant/Food Runner to support food and beverage service in our vibrant hotel. The role requires teamwork to ensure every plate reaches guests promptly.

You will work with the expo to ensure timely delivery of hot and cold dishes and assist with bussing and resetting tables.

This position offers flexible schedules, communicates in English, and provides an opportunity to create memorable guest experiences in a lively, design-forward environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality service preferred.
• Excellent phone and guest communication skills.
• Must be able to understand and communicate in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to perform opening, ongoing, and closing side work.

Responsibilities

• Check each plate to ensure accuracy as ordered by guests.
• Ensure condiments accompany every order.
• Coordinate with expo to deliver hot and cold items.
• Assist with bussing and resetting tables.
• Provide exceptional guest service and address inquiries.
• Stock linens and workstation supplies.
• Inform servers of guest needs.
