Job summary

San Jose Country Club in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a reliable Expediter/Service Assistant to support the dining operation. You will ensure trays are delivered correctly, communicate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams, and assist servers during service, including weekends and holidays.

The role requires standing for extended periods, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a high level of integrity and reliability. Comprehensive benefits are provided upon employment.

Qualifications

Ability to receive and follow detailed instructions in English.
Stand for extended periods of time.
Bend, stretch and reach.
Lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Walk completed trays into dining rooms and server stations.
Communicate with FOH and BOH staff.
Notify serving personnel of item shortages or counts.
Carry trays as instructed; act as expediter if needed.
Record counts for food control data.
Maintain sanitary handling and safety procedures.
Report to work in proper uniform.
Assist servers with tasks.
Remove soiled linen and replace with clean linen.
Collect trash after each serving period.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Clubhouse Manager.
