Job summary

The Trustees, serving as Massachusetts’ premier conservation and preservation organization, is seeking a Program Manager for the Corporate Art Loan Program at deCordova Sculpture Park & Museum in Lincoln, MA. This part-time, exempt role (24 hours/week) oversees client relations, revenue growth, and artwork packages, reporting to the Director & Chief Curator.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator with enthusiasm for strategic relationship development, a background in the art industry, and a track record of outstanding sales execution.
• Successful management experience and a strong understanding of the value of art in corporate settings are essential.

Responsibilities

• Expand client relationships through regular communication in sales and service cycles, focusing on retention, revenue growth, and new client acquisition.
• Identify and follow up with potential leads; use referrals, outreach through cold emails/calls, and targeted networking to generate opportunities.
• Collaborate with Trustees Development Team to identify new clients and bring existing clients into the donor base.
• Nurture customer relationships and identify upsell opportunities.
• Understand prospect and client needs and advise on budget and artwork accordingly.
• Educate prospects, communicate value, handle objections and resolve issues with clients.
• Oversee full artwork selection cycle with clients; coordinate with Artist Relations Lead on digital artwork packages; present options and support client decisions.
• Guide prospects and clients through onboarding (intro call, site visit, artwork review calls, installation follow-up).
• Coordinate communication throughout sales cycle from renewal to invoicing to delivery and approvals; ensure smooth installation and follow-up.
• Maintain program website and printed collateral for prospecting and retention.
• Collaborate with Finance to maintain internal reporting, invoicing, agreements, COI/WC paperwork.
