Job summary

The Rockwell Museum in Corning, NY is seeking enthusiastic individuals for a Guest Services & Event Setup Associate role. This part-time to full-time contract position is hired through a staffing agency and offers the chance to work in one of Corning's premier cultural destinations.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, selling admissions and memberships, assisting with the KIDS ROCKWELL Lab, and helping with event setup and breakdown.

Qualifications

• Able to handle cash, technology, and basic computer systems.
• Able to lift event equipment and stay on their feet for extended periods.
• Flexible to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist museum visitors with a warm, professional attitude.
• Sell admissions, memberships, and Museum Store merchandise.
• Answer visitor questions and help create an exceptional guest experience.
• Support activities at the KIDS ROCKWELL Art Lab.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, podiums, and equipment.
• Prepare spaces for receptions, concerts, lectures, private events, and other museum programs.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
