Job summary

Momofuku seeks an experienced Service Director in Los Angeles to lead front‑of‑house operations, guest experience, and financial decision making. This role drives service standards, staff development, and cross‑department collaboration in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in restaurant management, deep beverage knowledge, and strong communication skills. The position emphasizes leadership, accountability, and growth within the Momofuku family.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant management experience required.
• Deep knowledge of classical and contemporary service techniques.
• Strong wine and beverage knowledge; sommelier certification (CMS, WSET) a plus.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Knowledge of reservation and operations platforms like Restaurant 365, OpenTable, Toast.
• Food Handler/Manager certification.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Active interest in trends in F&B and restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain guest experience and service standards.
• Create standard operating procedures and systems.
• Provide feedback to restaurant teams; develop training programs.
• Develop staff and coach front of house teams on financial decisions.
