Job summary

Hallbrook Country Club in Leawood, KS is seeking a Server Assistant to support the service team and provide an elevated dining experience for members and guests. You will deliver food and beverages, learn seating and menu details, and assist with setup and cleanup to ensure smooth service.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and warm hospitality, with availability four days per week including weekends. Physical stamina and a commitment to excellent guest service are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or service experience preferred.
• Outgoing and personable, with a positive and professional attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends including Sundays and holidays.
• Predictable and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages to members’ tables promptly and accurately.
• Learn table numbers and seating arrangements to support efficient service.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of menu items.
• Anticipate member needs by replenishing beverages, marking tables, and providing additional service touches.
• Bus, reset, and prepare tables for the next seating.
• Verify the accuracy of carryout and dine-in orders before they leave the kitchen or are delivered to the table.
• Keep service stations clean and organized and assist the expeditor as needed.
• Respond to member requests with urgency, care, and ownership.
• Warmly thank members and guests as they depart.
• Assist with banquet events and in other areas of the Club as needed.
• Perform other service-related duties as assigned by management.
