Job summary

Holiday Inn Lucedale is seeking a attentive Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, process registrations, answer questions, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room readiness.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3–12 months of related experience, and strong computer and cash handling skills. The position is desk-based and professional, with opportunities to assist guests with local information and services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 3–12 months of employment in a related position.
• Excellent computer and cash handling skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out, make room reservations, provide directions and upsell when appropriate.
• Pre-register, block reservations, handle same-day and future reservations following rate structures and sell strategies.
• Manage guest check-ins/check-outs and balance charges on guest folios.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and front desk to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
