Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Philadelphia is seeking a Guest Service Representative to greet guests, check in, and assist with inquiries, delivering warm, professional service at the front desk.

You will support VIP arrivals, manage phone calls, handle cash with accuracy, maintain a tidy lobby, and protect guest information while contributing to a positive team culture and everyday hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in Front Desk Operations.
• In-depth knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests as they arrive, focusing on personal recognition.
• Reviews arrival lists daily and assists in preparing welcome amenities.
• Escort VIPs to rooms and checks them in prior to arrival.
• Answer the telephone within three rings with a smile and answer questions or transfer as needed.
• Handle cash and perform bank procedures at start/end of shift with accuracy.
• Keep front desk area clean and organized.
• Assist with lobby activation as needed.
• Protect guest PII data and follow privacy procedures.
• Follow check-in/check-out checklists and verify identifications and payment methods.
• Attend promptly to guest needs and inquiries.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
