Job summary

Ellis Island Hotel, Casino & Brewery seeks a Guest Service Agent at the Koval Lane location. You will be the face of the hotel, greeting guests, handling registrations, and ensuring a seamless, personalized stay for each guest.

You will manage reservations, provide information on amenities, and coordinate with housekeeping to maintain room readiness while upholding hotel standards. This role requires clear communication and a service-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older (if applicable).
• Literate and fluent in English.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks.
• Problem-solving mindset with initiative.
• Attention to detail and professional presentation.
• Communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Experience with hotel PMS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming first impression.
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
• Verify guest information, room type, nights, and billing details.
• Assign rooms and issue electronic keys; handle reservations and cancellations.
• Answer calls and guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Provide information on hotel amenities, rates, promotions, and events.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness.
• Upsell room upgrades, packages, and hotel services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records in the property's management system.
