Job summary

The American Cancer Society is seeking a Concierge at Hope Lodge in Burlington to be the frontline ambassador for our guests, managing front desk operations and delivering warm, attentive service to ensure comfort during their stay.

This role requires excellent communication, organization, and teamwork, with a 7:00am–3:30pm schedule Friday through Sunday, $19.50 per hour plus a 15% weekend differential; full benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with reservation systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth and hospitality upon arrival.
• Assist guests with check-in/check-out and provide information about Hope Lodge amenities.
• Manage front desk operations, respond to inquiries, and maintain organized records.
• Handle incoming calls and emails, directing to the appropriate staff.
• Monitor safety and security of the lobby area and guest areas.
• Assist with reservations, room assignments, and guest requests.
