Job summary

Kroger in Spanaway, WA is seeking an engaged team member for store operations as a bagger/courtesy clerk. You will greet customers, assist at the check lane, and process transactions quickly and accurately.

You will work with POS and various tenders, maintain cleanliness and safety, and support pricing, promotions, and loss prevention while delivering friendly service and helping shoppers. Part-time and full-time opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions through the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle various tenders according to policy.
