Job summary

Twenty Nine Palms Enterprises in Coachella, CA is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to handle daily cash and card transactions while delivering a Five Star guest experience. You will engage with guests, process payments, and maintain store cleanliness and organization.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail, with flexibility for shifts. Prior retail or service experience is helpful, and a willingness to learn is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) preferred.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service positions, but not required.
• Able to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with customers.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of maintenance related to travel centers.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement.
• Deliver our Five Star Experience to Guests and all Team Members by embodying our Mission Statement and Service Promise while adhering to department service standards.
• Manages financial transactions, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
• Answers guest questions regarding products or services, and provides information about promotions, policies, and services.
• Resolve guest complaints or escalates issues to management as necessary.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, store security, and compliance with legal requirements.
• Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on store equipment.
• Clean and disinfect restroom facilities including sinks, toilets and urinals, fill dispensers with soap, toilet paper and other items; clean mirrors, walls, light fixtures and windows; unclog drains and toilets.
