Job summary

Oak View Group in Palm Desert is seeking a part-time Cashier to deliver efficient, friendly service and accurate transactions in a concessions setting. This role includes operating the cash register, maintaining stock, and addressing guest questions.

It may involve serving beverages, including alcohol, with adherence to state and federal rules. This position pays an hourly rate of $20.00 and is tip eligible, with open status through October 9, 2026.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to learn to handle cash and to operate a cash register and system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly attitude with guests and staff.
• Must maintain excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cash register sales by entering orders and completing transactions.
• Maintain stock and communicate low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
• Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
• Keep workspace clean and organized; dispose of garbage and wash dishes.
• Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly.
• Check IDs to verify age for alcohol according to regulations.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
