Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Rapid City, SD is seeking a part-time Cashier to efficiently process purchases at the POS and deliver friendly customer service.

You will greet customers, assist with product questions, and promote in-store programs while maintaining shelves and supporting team members in a busy retail environment.

This role requires standing for long periods, handling merchandise with care, and collaborating with managers to ensure an exceptional shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate discounts and make change.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and friendly.
• Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying needs and recommending products.
• Promote programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
• Stock and straighten shelves when not ringing up merchandise.
• Operate the computerized Point of Sale register system.
• All other duties as assigned.
