Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a part-time Cashier to check out customers and handle merchandise with care at the POS registers. You will greet customers, provide friendly service, and assist in making buying decisions by identifying needs and recommending products.

As a cashier, you will promote CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up while maintaining knowledge of advertised sales and stocking shelves when not ringing up. This role emphasizes exceptional customer experiences and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and provide friendly service.
• Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying needs and recommending products.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
• Stock and straighten shelves and pegs when not ringing up product.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
