Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a part-time Cashier to greet customers, operate the POS, and process transactions accurately. You will assist shoppers with selection, promote CLUB Membership and in-store services, and help keep shelves neat and stocked throughout shifts.

The role emphasizes friendly, professional customer service and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Training on the POS system and product knowledge will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to calculate figures and make change.
• Friendly and professional communication with customers and associates.
• Ability to operate computerized POS register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and check out merchandise at the POS.
• Assist customers with buying decisions and product recommendations.
• Stock and straighten shelves when not ringing up customers.
• Promote programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
