Job summary

The Great Greek Mediterranean Restaurant is seeking a friendly Cashier and Customer Service Associate to join our dining team. You will operate the Toast POS, greet guests, answer questions, and help deliver timely service with a smile.

We value reliability, teamwork, and a welcoming demeanor. You’ll learn the menu, assist with seating and takeout orders, and help keep the dining area clean and inviting for every guest.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role.
• Ability to operate Toast POS and other POS systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and teamwork.
• Knowledge of food service operations and menu items.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Toast POS system efficiently and accurately to process orders and payments
• Greet guests with a warm smile and provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain knowledge of the menu to answer guest questions and make recommendations
• Assist with bringing food to tables and ensuring timely service
• Clean tables, floors, and dining areas as needed to uphold cleanliness standards
• Learn and assist with order expo for both in-house and takeout orders
• Communicate effectively with guests, cooks, and team members to ensure smooth operations
• Adhere to personal appearance and uniform standards
• Demonstrate honesty and trustworthiness in all interactions
• Attend scheduled shifts reliably and maintain good attendance
