Job summary

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is seeking a friendly cashier who greets guests, guides them through the ordering process, and helps with suggestive selling. You will ring up orders accurately using the POS system and handle cash and credit transactions with care.

In a fast-paced dining room, you will keep the dining area clean, restrooms stocked, and assist with opening/closing duties while delivering excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests and guide them through the ordering process.
• Accurately take orders and handle cash and credit card procedures.
• Answer phones and take call-in orders using The Great Greek script.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary dining area and assist with closing/opening duties.
• Explain the menu and suggestively sell to customers.
