Job summary

Global Partners LP in Portsmouth, RI is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver a top-notch guest experience and support store operations. You will greet guests, assist customers, and ensure a welcoming and efficient checkout.

You will operate the point of sale, manage cash and inventory, stock shelves, perform housekeeping, and communicate guest requests to management. This role requires flexible hours, reliable transportation, and the ability to work in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Availability for day, night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoor, cooler, etc).
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Access to all store areas including selling floor, stock and register area.
• Accurate counting, reading, and writing for required paperwork.
• Support onboarding of new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operating policies and procedures.
• Operate the point of sale and maintain cash and lottery levels.
• Perform store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies to keep stock in condition.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
