Job summary

Kroger in Arlington, TX is looking for a friendly cashier/checker to deliver outstanding customer service, greet shoppers, and assist at the checkout lane with speed and accuracy.

You will handle a variety of tenders, follow store policies on restricted items, maintain a safe, clean environment, and participate in loss prevention while building positive customer experiences. Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is a plus; training is provided to support growth within Kroger.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide attentive service at the checkout.
• Process cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle various payment methods and coupons per policy.
• Adhere to store policies on alcohol, tobacco, and restricted items.
