Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store associate in Greenville, NC to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure fast, accurate checkout. You’ll help with truck unload, stocking, planograms, and in-store processing such as BOPIS and SFS, while promoting loyalty programs and maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

Team members participate in safety, shrink prevention, and SOP adherence, with opportunities for cross-training in Custom Framing.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process and general store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies and standards.
• Interact with others in a respectful manner and be a role model for Team Members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
