Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Understand the POS system and handle cash, credit, debit, SNAP/EBT, and other tenders per policy.
• Follow cash-handling guidelines and work to minimize loss and discrepancies.
• Adhere to restrictions on items like alcohol, tobacco, and DVDs as required.
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow store policies on coupons and promotions.
