Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greeting, engaging and assisting customers at the checkout
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
• Understand POS system and handle tenders (cash, cards, coupons) according to policy
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs)
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator
• Stay current with ads and promotions
• Adhere to food safety regulations
• Support safety programs and report unsafe conditions
• Maintain equipment and store cleanliness
• Provide product assistance and answer customer questions across the store
