Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a Hotel Attendant/Porter to provide luggage handling and guest transportation services, greeting guests and assisting with their needs to ensure a smooth stay.

The role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. This is a full-time position with on-site responsibilities and potential for growth within the hotel group.

Qualifications

• Have a keen eye for detail, time management and great customer service skills.
• Pleasant and friendly demeanor.
• Knowledge of and adhere to all alcohol related law.
• Must obtain or possess the necessary certifications to serve alcohol.
• Able to work as a team and independently.
• Flexible working hours.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
• Physical mobility and stamina.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
• Provide information about hotel, amenities and local information.
• Answer guest inquiries and address their needs in a timely and courteous manner.
• Assist with transportation arrangements and valet parking.
• Assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized lobby and bell area.
• Ensure safety and security of guests and their belongings.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth guest service.
