Job summary

Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center is seeking a warm Bell Person to be the first contact for guests, delivering a seamless arrival and departure experience. You will safely handle luggage, provide detailed information about rooms and hotel facilities, and assist guests with local attractions while maintaining professionalism.

You will collaborate with Front Desk, Concierge, and Housekeeping to ensure guest safety and satisfaction, and participate in mandatory trainings and schedules

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift items more than 75lbs.
• Experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist arriving and departing guests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Safely handle and transport luggage, baggage, and packages.
• Securely store luggage while awaiting transfer.
• Provide information about room types, amenities, and hotel facilities; address guest inquiries.
• Communicate hotel emergency procedures as needed.
• Offer information about the hotel and local attractions, including travel directions; promote hotel facilities and outlets.
• Transport guests safely to and from property areas.
• Build positive relationships with Front Desk, Valet, Concierge, and Housekeeping.
• Remain vigilant at post, ensure guest safety, and notify Security if necessary.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper condition of equipment and work areas; coordinate with Housekeeping.
• Regular attendance and flexibility to meet business needs.
• Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
