Job summary

Paradies Lagardère is hiring a Server in East Boston, MA. The role delivers exceptional customer service, takes orders using a POS system, upsells items, and ensures guests leave satisfied.

You will maintain a clean work area, assist with seating and other tasks, and adhere to all safety and liquor laws. The position requires 1 year of serving experience, a High School diploma or GED, and certifications (ServSafe, TIPS) are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-year experience serving
• Experience handling money and a POS system
• Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment
• Knowledge of math to figure cost, make change, and cash handling procedures
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as with other team members
• Able to work unsupervised for extended periods, and to demonstrate good judgement when dealing with customers and peers
• Knowledge of liquor laws
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in varying temperatures

Responsibilities

• Deliver guests' orders and follow up to ensure needs are met
• Present the menu and answer questions, making suggestions
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner and create a lasting impression
• Upsell and promote the brand to increase check average
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and help with seating, answering phones, stock, and cleanup
