Job summary

Thunder Valley Casino Resort is hiring a Peets Counter Attendant to deliver friendly, professional service and high-quality coffee and food offerings at the Whitney, CA location. You will greet Guests, educate them on products, and assist with purchases while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

The role requires excellent communication, the ability to multitask, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior food-service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
• One year of experience in a food service outlet preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and connect with every Guest; provide information on products.
• Assist Guests in selecting and purchasing beverages, food items, and retail items.
• Prepare a variety of Guest beverage orders and serve food items.
• Maintain pastry display case and ensure items are well stocked.
• Follow SOPs, recipes, and guidelines for consistent service.
• Follow cash handling and register procedures for transactions.
• Perform cleaning tasks and maintain sanitation of the service area.
• Restock products and manage inventory as needed.
• Communicate clearly with Guests and Team Members.
