Job summary

Arlington Resort Hotel and Spa in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a Banquet Server to assist with events and guest dining. You will help ensure timely service, maintain safety and cleanliness, and respond to guest needs with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• One-year prior hotel banquet experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Professional and positive demeanor.
• Truly enjoy working with the public in a variety of situations.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and functions well under pressure.
• Ability to perform job function with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring events are on time.
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas in which the event is taking place.
• Communicate any areas of need, problems, and concern to banquet manager.
• Ensure each guest has a pleasant dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling guest requests, removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling glasses.
• Have knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and hours of operation.
• Entertainment and special events scheduled in the hotel.
• Must be flexible to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area and appearance.
• Know all safety and emergency procedures.
• Adhere to hotel's dress code policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
