Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Chicago seeks a courteous server to deliver and service food and beverages, take orders, and ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include presenting checks, collecting payment, delivering in-room amenities, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety while working a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. BASSET and Food Handler certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred.
• BASSET and Food Handler certifications are required.
• Meet minimum age requirements for jurisdiction.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, deliver and service orders.
• Present, collect payment for guest checks and provide accurate billing.
• Deliver and present amenities in-room and with beverage service as required.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and serve accordingly.
• Adhere to safety, health, and cleanliness standards per city codes and hotel policy.
• Present a courteous, professional attitude to guests and colleagues.
• Handle guest inquiries and report issues to supervisor when needed.
