Job summary

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits is seeking Retail Team Members to create a welcoming, fun, and educational experience for Guests by delivering exceptional service, helping meet store goals, and keeping the store clean, organized, and stocked.

You will greet Guests, operate the POS, verify ID for alcohol, promote our wide selection, assist with merchandising, receive shipments, and maintain a safe, engaging store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs demand.
• No prior retail experience required, though previous customer-facing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests and provide prompt, friendly service throughout their visit.
• Operate POS system, process transactions, apply discounts or promotions, verify rewards accounts, and handle cash.
• Maintain Responsible Vendor status for alcohol & tobacco purchases with age verification.
• Learn and promote ABC’s wine, spirits, beer, and cigars.
• Assist with merchandising, restocking, and visual presentation of product on shelves and within beer coolers.
• Receive, unload, and validate invoices; stock store deliveries.
• Keep the store, stockroom, and customer-facing spaces clean, safe, and organized.
• Assist with daily property upkeep and cleaning tasks as needed.
• Provide wrapping service and gift baskets; offer carryout service when needed.
• Stay current on training, company policies, and product knowledge.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Store Leadership.
