Job summary

Torchy’s in Austin, TX is seeking a friendly Hospitality Team member. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure fast, accurate transactions while delivering outstanding hospitality.

You’ll learn the menu, recommend options, run food to tables, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining area. Teamwork with managers and kitchen staff is essential to create memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Availability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must meet state and local requirements for Food Handler’s and Alcohol Server certifications.
• Certification(s) must be obtained by your first day or within the timeline required by your location.
• 2 years of work experience in customer service preferred.
• 2 years of experience using POS (point-of-sale) systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, ask questions to understand needs, offer suggestions, and ensure fast, accurate transactions.
• Deliver outstanding hospitality, making guests feel welcomed and valued.
• Learn the menu and promotions to make personalized recommendations.
• Run food to tables, ensure correct orders, and proactively offer refills.
• Keep guest-facing areas neat, clean, and inviting.
• Work with managers and kitchen team to resolve issues and ensure smooth service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
