Job summary

The Salvation Army Kroc Center in South Bend, Indiana seeks a friendly Welcome Desk Associate to deliver outstanding service to guests and members. You will process registrations, answer inquiries, and route calls while maintaining a welcoming Christian hospitality.

Starting pay is $12.00 per hour for 19 hours weekly, with an early morning shift from 5:15 AM to 10:00 AM. Qualifications include a high school diploma, 1–2 years in customer service, and a valid driver’s license, CPR, and Safe From

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years in customer service and cash handling.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check is required and reviewed.
• Valid driver’s license; CPR and Safe From Harm training within 30 days.
• Proficient in English, able to use MS Office and basic electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide world class customer service and build relationships to support membership retention.
• Perform POS transactions at the Welcome Desk.
• Give tours, promote the center, and sell memberships.
• Maintain knowledge of programs and facilities.
• Enter membership information accurately and timely.
• Follow policies for Welcome Desk and POS system.
