Job summary

Family Dollar in Enid, Oklahoma is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage transactions at the cash register, stock shelves, unload merchandise, and keep the store clean and presentable while following productivity standards and store policies.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
