Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in North Carolina. You’ll assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment while protecting assets and handling stock replenishment.

The role involves unloading merchandise and stocking, with emphasis on friendly service and teamwork. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking and standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
