Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Highland Springs, Virginia is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate to assist customers, answer questions, and process sales at the register.

You'll stock shelves, unload shipments, keep the store clean and safe, and ensure a welcoming shopping experience for guests and colleagues.

Strong communication and reliability are important; lifting up to 50 lbs is required; prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Process sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and teammates
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including restrooms and floors
• Other duties as assigned
