Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time retail associate in Virginia. You will assist customers, process sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked and organized. The role emphasizes friendly customer interactions and maintaining store cleanliness.

Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, replenishment, and ensuring a safe, respectful environment for customers and team members. Prior retail experience is preferred and physical tasks are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail or similar settings preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff
• Maintain cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash
• Other duties as assigned
