Job summary

Chevron Stations is hiring at our Belmont location in California. The role involves serving customers, processing sales at the register, handling cash, and keeping the station clean and stocked.

You will prepare food and beverages, promote specials, and ensure compliance with safety and food handling standards. We offer direct deposit, weekly pay, health/wellness packages, education reimbursement, shift differential pay, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English to understand policies and communicate with customers.
• Able to work a variety of hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Food handling certificates as required by law (in specific locations).
• Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service, greet and thank customers with eye contact.
• Conduct point-of-sale activities accurately and safely with multiple payment forms.
• Maintain cash drawer, follow cash handling policies and reconcile at shift end.
• Perform regular station cleaning of indoor/outdoor areas and restrooms.
• Prepare food and beverages and manage ExtraMile/KKC offerings to maximize sales.
• Promote store specials and other Marketing programs.
• Cross-check delivered goods for pricing accuracy and stock shelves.
• Observe local laws when fueling vehicles (where applicable).
• May perform other duties as assigned by management.
