Job summary

Primanti Bros. Restaurant & Bar in Altoona, PA is seeking a friendly Greeter to create a warm welcome for Fans and help maintain fast, hospitable service for both dine-in and To-Go guests.

You will greet guests, answer calls, handle take-out orders, assist with seating, and keep the greeting station stocked while delivering courteous hospitality and a positive experience for every Fan.

Qualifications

• Ability to write and read the English language.
• Good communication skills, friendly, and people oriented.
• Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, able to multitask.
• Possesses basic math skills.
• Able to operate POS system for transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet Fans cheerfully at the door or on the phone and provide a warm welcome.
• Answer the phone with the correct greeting and within 3 rings.
• Handle take-out and call-in orders; educate Fans on retail items and keep areas stocked.
• Ensure an exceptional To-Go experience, including delivery to the restaurant parking lot if needed.
• Seat Fans promptly and manage flow using the wait system; assist with special requests.
• Assist with opening, shift change, and closing checklists; uphold cleanliness and safety.
