Job summary

Ginger and Baker in Fort Collins, CO seeks a friendly Greeter to welcome guests, manage seating with Reserve/SpotOn, and support dining room operations. You will greet guests, handle phones, manage waitlists and provide menu guidance while maintaining a positive, professional demeanor.

This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, teamwork, and adherence to safety and health standards. Training in Food Safe is required.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language with the ability to communicate efficiently.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Attend Food Safe Training and pass test.
• Proficient with SpotOn and iPad-based reservations and seating.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests confidently with a positive attitude and bid them farewell as they leave.
• Handle guest calls and ensure customer satisfaction through proper referral to a manager.
• Create a welcoming environment and guide guests to spaces (Cache, Coffee Shop, Marketplace, Café).
• Manage seating, waitlist and reservations using Reserve/SpotOn.
• Maintain dining room setup and monitor wait times for guests on waitlist.
• Support with side work including cleaning, stocking and table prep.
• Promote a warm atmosphere and uphold service standards.
